Gloucestershire Vision 2050
Deadline to respond to the consultation is 31 July 2018 Leadership Gloucestershire are developing a vision for 2050. They have created eight ambitions for the county and six ‘big ideas’ to help deliver them.
We believe that Gloucestershire Moves should be the seventh ‘big idea’.
One of the ambitions is for a ‘happy, healthy county’. We think that should mean a more active county – and that’s for everyone, regardless of age or circumstance.
It’s a whole-system approach to getting us all more active, and the initial three-year programme is already underway. With longer-term countywide commitment, it can fundamentally change the way the public, service providers and decision-makers work together.
We need as many organisations as possible to support Gloucestershire Moves in their own Gloucestershire 2050 consultation response.
If the ‘happy, healthy’ ambition is important to you and your organisation, it would be fantastic if you could include support for Gloucestershire Moves in your own response.
We’ve created a guide to completing the consultation (it’s easy) and even some suggested text for you to use. https://www.gloucestershiremoves.org
Active Gloucestershire’s full response can also be found in the resources section to the left of this page.
