Support around safeguarding
With the recent news of shocking revelations about abuse in football and other sports, the importance of safeguarding and having the relevant training and support networks for any concerns around safeguarding is ever more paramount.
At Active Gloucestershire our safeguarding officers are available to support clubs as part of our advocacy work. In addition the following are useful reminders of resources and support that can be accessed regarding safeguarding matters:-

The Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) has brought together links to their safeguarding tools and information on managing allegations of abuse to help you better find the resources you need. These can be found here.
